"Zoom" is the 13th digital single by Jessi. It was released on April 13, 2022.

It was her last release under P NATION, as she parted ways with the label on July 6.

Background[]

On March 31, 2022, P NATION released a teaser poster for a upcoming release on April 13 of one of their artists on all of their social media channels. A day later, they revealed it to be Jessi.[1]

The album format and title were released through two concept teaser videos and a teaser poster on April 5 and 6.[2][3] Five sets of teaser photos were released between April 6 and 10. The last set of photos revealed that Jessi would collab with the female dance crew LACHICA for this release.[4] A day later, the album cover was revealed.[5]

  • Jessi revealed that she got the inspiration for the song due to everyone taking countless photos with their smartphones these days aswell as once seeing a man zoom in on a photo while he was browsing a social media platform.[6]
