Yves (Korean: 이브; Japanese: イヴ; Chinese: 伊芙) is a South Korean singer and producer under Paix Per Mil and GOLDEN MOON. She is a member of the girl group LOONA and the leader of its third sub-unit, yyxy.

She made her solo debut on May 29, 2024 with the EP Loop.

Career[]

2017: Reveal[]

On November 14, 2017, she was revealed as the ninth member of LOONA. Her solo single album, titled "Yves", was released on November 28.

2018: Debut with yyxy, LOONA[]

She debuted as a member of the group's third sub-unit, yyxy, on May 30, 2018 with the mini album Beauty & The Beat.

On August 20, 2018, LOONA debuted as a full twelve-member group with their first mini album + +.

2020: Fact iN Star[]

In May 2020, Yves became the new MC of the variety show Fact iN Star alongside Yoo Jaehwan.[3]

2022-2023: Lawsuits against BlockBerryCreative[]

In an article published by JTBC on November 28, it was revealed that Yves and all LOONA members except Hyunjin and Vivi have reportedly filed a lawsuit to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative due to their trust in the company being damaged. BlockBerryCreative denies all claims.[4] On January 13, 2023, it was revealed that Yves, along with HaSeul, Go Won, Olivia Hye and YeoJin lost the trial against BlockBerryCreative for terminating their exclusive contracts.[5]

On June 16, 2023, The Seoul High Court's 5th Civil Cases Division ruled in favor of her, along with HaSeul, Go Won, Olivia Hye and YeoJin, to suspend their exclusive contracts with BlockBerryCreative.[6]

2024: New agency, solo debut with Loop, Apple Cinnamon Crunch Tour, I Did[]

On March 13, 2024, Yves announced she had signed an exclusive contract with Paix Per Mil and will be managed by GOLDEN MOON.[7][8]

On April 30, Hankook Ilbo reported that Yves would be making her solo debut in May. Paix Per Mil confirmed the reports hours later.[9]

On May 14, it was announced that she will make her debut on May 29 with the EP Loop.[10]

On October 10, it was revealed that Yves would be going on her first solo tour called "Apple Cinnamon Crunch" which would begin in Europe on December 4 of the same year.[11]

On October 31, Yves announced her second mini album I Did, which is scheduled for release on November 14.[12]

2025: Dim ∞, Apple Cinnamon Crunch[]

On April 1, 2025, Yves released her first remix album 'Dim ∞[13]

On May 28, Paix Per Mil announced that Yves would release her first LP album, Apple Cinnamon Crunch to celebrate her first solo tour.[14]

On February 28, 2022, BlockBerryCreative announced that fellow members YeoJin, HaSeul, and ViVi had tested positive for COVID-19. BlockBerry stated that other members, not named, had tested positive on the self home kit and that they that they are waiting for the PCR test to confirm. As a result, LOONA will not be participating in the first round of Queendom 2.[15] On the next day, BlockBerry announced that the PCR tests came back and Yves along with seven other members had tested positive for COVID-19.[16]
