Yuri (유리) is a South Korean singer and actress under SM Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group Girls' Generation and its sub-unit Girls' Generation-Oh!GG.

She made her solo debut on October 4, 2018 with her first mini album The First Scene.

Career[]

2007: Debut with Girls' Generation[]

She debuted as a member of Girls' Generation on August 5, 2007 with the group's first single "Into the New World".

2018: Girls' Generation-Oh!GG, solo debut[]

On September 5, 2018, Yuri debuted as a member of Girls' Generation's second sub-unit Girls' Generation-Oh!GG with their first single "Lil' Touch".

She made her solo debut on October 4, 2018 with her first mini album The First Scene.

Relationship[]

On April 14, 2015, local news source Dispatch reported that Yuri was dating baseball player Oh Seung Hwan. Later that day, the news was confirmed by SM Entertainment.[1] On October 14 of the same year, it was revealed the couple had broken up after six months of dating due to difficulties of a long-distance relationship.[2]
