Yuq1 (stylized in all-caps) is the solo debut mini album by Yuqi. It was released on April 23, 2024 with "Freak" serving as the album's title track.

"Could It Be" was pre-released on April 5, 2024.

The physical album comes in three versions: Rabbit, Star and Special.

Background[]

On March 22, 2024, Cube Entertainment announced that Yuqi would make her official solo debut by the end of April.[1] On April 1, it was announced that she will be releasing the digital single "Could It Be" on April 5 as a pre-release for her solo debut mini album, Yuq1, which will be released on April 23.[2]

Commercial performance[]

"YUQ1" was the best-selling album by a Female Soloist on the Circle Album Chart in 2024 with 657,593 copies.[3]
