Yujeong (Korean: 유정; Japanese: ユジョン; Chinese: 宥姃) is a South Korean singer under Cube Entertainment. She is the maknae of the girl group LIGHTSUM.
Career[]
2018–2019: Produce 48, new agencies[]
In May 2018, she became a contestant on the survival show Produce 48, where she represented CNC School. She was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 51st place.[1]
On December 26, Stardium announced that Yujeong, alongside the other four CNC trainees, had joined the agency.[2] However, she left the agency sometime in late 2019.[citation needed]
In December 2019, Yujeong joined Cube Entertainment as a trainee.[3]
2021: Debut with LIGHTSUM[]
On April 22, 2021, Yujeong was revealed as the eighth and final member of LIGHTSUM.[4] The group debuted on June 10 with their first single "Vanilla".

On February 9, 2023, Yujeong graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA).[6]
