Yu Ju (Korean: 유주; Japanese: ユジュ), also known by her full name Choi Yu Ju (Korean: 최유주), is a South Korean singer and actress under FNC Entertainment. She is a former member of the girl group Cherry Bullet.


2017: FNC's new girl group[]

On August 21, 2017, Yu Ju was revealed as a member of FNC Entertainment's then-upcoming eleven-member girl group.[1] However, the group's debut was put on hold.

2019: Debut with Cherry Bullet[]

On November 21, 2018, Yu Ju was revealed as the third member of Cherry Bullet.[2] The group officially debuted on January 21, 2019 with their first single album "Let's Play Cherry Bullet".

2021: Debut as an actress[]

On January 14, 2021, it was confirmed that Yu Ju would make her acting debut in the web drama Be My Boyfriend.[3] The first episode then aired on February 22nd of the same year.

On September 19, 2022, it was reported that Yu Ju was casted for what would be her first lead role in the web drama My 20th Twenty.[4] The first episode then aired on April 21, 2023.

2024: Cherry Bullet's disbandment[]

On April 22, 2024, FNC Entertainment announced that Cherry Bullet had disbanded following the contract terminations of four members. However, Yu Ju remains signed under the company for individual activities.[5]

On August 24, 2017, SMART School Uniforms revealed that they have selected FNC Entertainment's trainees Yu Ju and Ji Won as the brand's new models.[6]
