Youth (청춘의 포말; stylized in all-caps) is the solo debut full-length album by Doyoung. It was released on April 22, 2024 with "Little Light" serving as the album's title track.
The physical album comes in three versions: 포말, 새봄 and Digipack.
Background[]
On February 8, 2024, SM Entertaiment revealed that Doyoung will be making his solo debut in the second half of the year.[1] On March 11, Sports Chosun reported that Doyoung will be debuting in April.[2] On April 4, it was announced that Doyoung will release his debut full-length album Youth on April 22.[3]
On April 5, HeraldPOP reported that Taeyeon will participate as a featured artist in one of the B-sides in Doyoung's album. SM Entertainment confirmed the reports hours later.[4]
Commercial performance[]
Youth reached #1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 13 different regions, topped QQ Music's and KuGou Music's digital album sales charts in China, as well as the Line Music's realtime Top 100 Albums chart in Japan. Meanwhile, "Little Light" debuted at #2 on the Melon Hot 100 chart and #21 on the Top 100 in South Korea.[5]
