Youkyung (유경) is a South Korean musician under RXM. She is a member of the female band UNI and a former drummer of the bands Y&Z Project, P.AZIT[1][2], Sponge Band, girl group AOA and their sub-unit AOA Black.
She made her solo debut on October 19, 2020 with the single album "Connect".
She currently teaches drums, makes drumtabs[3], and uploads drum covers to her YouTube channel You's Drum[4].
Career[]
2012-2016: AOA, AOA Black[]
On July 23, 2012, she was revealed as a member of the upcoming girl group AOA .[5] They debuted on August 9, 2012, with the single album Angels' Story.
In October 2016, she left FNC Entertainment but would continue to participate with the group's band releases as a guest member. She continued to focus on her studies afterward and also began teaching drums.
2020-2021: Y&Z Project[]
On May 29, 2020, she was revealed as a member of the upcoming co-ed band Y&Z Project.[6] They debuted with the single album "BOOT THE SISTEM" on June 1, 2020.[7]
Unfortunately, they silently disbanded in mid 2021 due to inactivity.
2022-present: UNI[]
On November 18, 2022, she was revealed as a member of the upcoming female band UNI.[8]

Trivia[]
- Her angel name is Y.
- First made her debut as a member of Sponge Band in 2010 under the stage name Gaon. She had a rap part in their debut song "Can't Hear You".
- Considered a "half-angel" due to not promoting with the group's dance unit.
- Youkyung has a younger sister.
- Bilingual in Korean and English.
- Was admitted into Yewon Arts University as a Practical Music Major in 2013. She graduated in 2018. She composed one of her school performances, called Sorry.
- "Moya" was her last release overall and "Wanna Be" was her last release an AOA member. Her last televised music performance was AOA Black's special stage at the MBC Gayo Daejun's in 2014. Between then and her departure, FNC did not include her in AOA's other music promotions nor debuted her in Japan with the other members, and appeared in few other activities. Despite public criticism of the group leaving her out and acting like a 7-membered group instead of 8, this absence was never addressed by FNC or other members.
- Appeared in the reality shows "Cheongdamdong 111" and "Open Up AOA".

- Since May 2018 she has been uploading her new drum covers to her own YouTube channel You's Drum.
- Youkyung does not have any vocal lines during her time in AOA. She doesn’t appear on the groups' single or Mini Album cover.
- Even though she is still a member during 2013-2016, she doesn’t appear in any promotions photo. Her last promotion photo she was featured in as a group is the single album “Wanna Be” back in 2012 And her last promotion photo she was featured in AOA subunit AOA Black is Moya.
