Yoonwon (윤원) is a South Korean trainee. He is best known for participating in the reality survival show I-LAND.

Career[]

2020-present: I-LAND[]

On June 3, 2020, Yoonwon was introduced as a participant in the CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment's upcoming survival show I-LAND.[1] On the first episode, he performed "All I Wanna Do" by Jay Park, along with Jungwon and Taeyong, but was unfortunately "eliminated" and was unable to enter "I-LAND" and was placed in "Ground".[2] As half of the I-LANDER team had to be sent to "Ground" in the third episode, the producers chose 6 people, with Yoonwon being one of them, from "Ground" to be sent to "I-LAND".[3] In the fourth episode, he was voted back to "Ground".[4] It was revealed that he unfortunately had to withdraw from I-LAND due to a worsening injury.
