Yoona (윤아) is a South Korean singer and actress under SM Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group Girls' Generation and its sub-unit Girls' Generation-Oh!GG.
She made her solo debut on May 30, 2019 with the mini album A Walk to Remember.
Career[]
2007: Debut with Girls' Generation[]
Yoona debuted as a member of Girls' Generation on August 5, 2007 with the group's first single "Into the New World".
2017–2018: Participation in STATION and debut with Girls' Generation-Oh!GG[]
On September 8, 2017, Yoona released her first solo digital single "When The Wind Blows" as a part of STATION 2's 23rd release.
On May 13, 2018, Yoona released the collaboration single "To You" with Lee Sang Soon, as a part of the SM project, STATION. It was then later included in her debut mini album A Walk to Remember.
On September 4, she debuted as a member of Girls' Generation's second sub-unit, Girls' Generation-Oh!GG, with the release of their single "Lil' Touch".
2019: Solo debut[]
Yoona made her solo debut on May 30, 2019 with her first mini album A Walk to Remember, which was released to celebrate her 30th birthday (Korean age).
2024: Contract renewal[]
On January 4, 2024, SM Entartainment announced that Yoona renewed her exclusive contract with the agency for the third time in a row.[1]

Education[]
She graduated from Daeyoung High School in 2009. She went on a major in theater studies and graduated from Dongguk University in February 2015.[2]
Relationship[]
On January 1, 2014, local news source Dispatch reported that Yoona and actor Lee Seung Gi had been dating since September 2013. Later that day, the news was confirmed by SM Entertainment.[3] On August 13, 2015, it was reported that the couple had broken up due to busy schedules.[4]
On July 3, 2023, it was reported that Yoona is currently dating 2PM's Junho with whom she acted in the JTBC's drama King the Land.[5] However, both of their agencies later denied the rumor.[6]
