Yoon Min (윤민), also known by the pseudonym M!N (민), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and rapper under howtouse. He is a former member of the pre-debut boy group JYPE LOUD.
He made his solo debut on August 1, 2024 with his first digital single "Slob".
He is also known for being a contestant on the survival shows LOUD, Vocal Showdown and Boys II Planet.
Career[]
2021: LOUD[]
On May 20, 2021, he was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD.[1] During the tenth episode, which was aired on August 7, he received and accepted the casting offer from JYP Entertainment.[2] In the final round he and the 4 members of Team JYP won the online vote, thus automatically being announced as part of the group.
2023: Departure from JYP, Vocal Showdown[]
On April 11, 2023, Yoon Min opened up an Instagram account, thus confirming his departure from JYP Entertainment and JYPE LOUD.[3]
On May 1, he opened a personal SoundCloud account under the name M!N.[4]
In October, he was introduced as a contestant in Mnet's survival show Vocal Showdown. He was eventually eliminated from the competition.
2024: Signing with howtouse, solo debut with "Slob"[]
On June 27, 2024, a teaser was posted for howtouse's first compilation album How To Use?, to be released on July 6, including Yoon Min.[5]
On July 25, he announced that he will be debuting with his first digital single "Slob" on August 1.[6]
2025: Boys II Planet, Hangertape[]
On June 12, 2025, he was introduced as a contestant of Mnet's survival show Boys II Planet, representing howtouse.[7] On September 4, he was eliminated in episode 8 after ranking 30th place.[8]
On November 3, 2025, howtouse shared the scheduler photo for Yoon Min's first EP, Hangertape, which is set to be released on November 23. The digital single "Trust Me!" will be released first as a pre-release on November 17.[9]

- He was a model student growing up and went to Dongsung High School, an autonomous private high school. He dropped out and enrolled in Hanlim Multi Art School to pursue music.[13]
