Yoohyeon (Korean: 유현; Japanese: ユヒョン) is a South Korean singer under Dreamcatcher Company. She is a member of the girl group Dreamcatcher and its sub-unit UAU. She is also a former member of MINX.
Career[]
2014–2016: MINX[]
On September 18, 2014, she debuted as a member of MINX, with the group's first single "Why Did You Come To My Home?".
On November 29, 2016, Happyface Entertainment announced that MINX would re-debut under the name Dreamcatcher with the addition of two members.[1]
2017: Debut with Dreamcatcher, MIXNINE[]
Dreamcatcher officially debuted on January 13, 2017 with their first single album "Nightmare".
In October, Yoohyeon, alongside fellow members JiU, Siyeon, and Dami, became contestants on the survival show MIXNINE. However, on December 10, it was announced that all four members would be leaving the show.[2]
2025: UAU[]
On March 10, 2025, Dreamcatcher Company revealed that JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon will engage in unit activities.[3]
On April 3, SuA accidentally revealed her unit with JiU and Yoohyeon is named UAU through the group's fromm.[4] On April 17, Dreamcatcher Company confirmed the sub-unit's name to be UAU through a logo motion released on Dreamcatcher's SNS accounts.[5]
