Yoo Yena (유예나), also known simply as Yena, is a South Korean singer. She is a former member of the kids groups Cookie, Dream Candy, and LUNA KIDS.

She is best known for participating in the survival show Universe Ticket.

Career[]

2020–2021: Dream Candy, Cookie, and LUNA KIDS[]

Sometime in July of 2020, Yena joined the kids girl group, Dream Candy, and made her official debut as a member on September 6, 2020 with the release of their self-titled first digital single, "Dream Candy".^{[citation needed]} She remained a member for the release of their second digital single, but left sometime at the end of 2020.^{[citation needed]}

On March 15, 2021, Yena debuted as a member of the kids girl group, Cookie, with the release of their first digital single, "I Guess I Really Like You".^[1]^[2] Less than a month later, on April 12, Yena announced her graduation from Cookie.^[3]

On March 24, Yena joined the second lineup of LUNA KIDS for six months, performing as the center for the single "My Dream".^[4]^[5]

2023: Universe Ticket[]

On July 17, 2023, Yena was introduced as a contestant on the SBS survival show Universe Ticket.^[6] She was eliminated during the second round and was unable to move on.^[7]
