YooA (유아) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under SARAM Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group OH MY GIRL and a former member of the project girl groups Sunny Girls and Girls Next Door.
She made her solo debut on September 7, 2020 with her first mini album Bon Voyage.[1]
Career[]
2015: Debut with OH MY GIRL[]
She debuted as a member of OH MY GIRL on April 21, 2015 with the group's self-titled debut mini album.
2020: Solo debut and first music show win[]
On August 25, WM Entertainment confirmed she would making her debut as soloist on September 7, 2020 with her first mini album Bon Voyage.[1]
On September 15, YooA received her first music show win on SBS's The Show.[2]
2022: Selfish[]
On October 20, 2022, a WM Entertainment representative announced that YooA is in the final stage of preparations for her first-ever solo comeback with the aim for a November release.[3] It was later revealed that she will release her second mini album Selfish on November 14.
2024: "Borderline"[]
On February 20, 2024, News1 reported that YooA would be making a solo comeback sometime in March. WM Entertainment confirmed the reports hours later.[4]
On February 27, it was revealed that YooA will release her first single album "Borderline" on March 14.[5]
2025: Departure from WM Entertainment, new agency[]
On May 8, 2025, WM Entertainment announced that YooA has mutually agreed to end her exclusive contract with the agency, but will keep promoting as a member of OH MY GIRL.[6] That same day, she revealed that she will focus on her acting career.[7]
On June 2, SARAM Entertainment announced they signed an exclusive contract with YooA to begin her acting career and explore opportunities in a variety of fields.[8]

- She is the only member of the group who was born in Seoul.
- In Queendom, she was a member of the performance unit "Six Puzzle", along with Moon Byul, Jeong Ye In, Soojin, Chan Mi, and Eunji.[10]
