Yina (이나), formerly known as Saem (샘), is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a former member of the girl group RaNia.

Career

2010–2017: RaNia

She was originally set to debut in mid-2010 as the third generation of Baby V.O.X.

On April 6, 2011, she officially debuted as a member of RaNia under the stage name Saem in the group's original lineup with their first mini album Teddy Riley, The First Expansion In Asia.

Since late 2014, Saem stopped attending group events and deactivated her Instagram and Twitter. This led to fans speculating that she left the group, even though DR Music never released an official statement regarding the situation.

On November 4, 2015, DR Music announced that Saem, along with Jooyi, decided to leave the group.

In late 2016, it was announced that Saem rejoined the group for their comeback with Start A Fire, and changed her stage name to Yina.

In March, fans noticed that she was absent from group promotions, to which DR Music responded that she was busy with her individual schedules. On June 8, 2017, Yina announced on her Instagram that she has left RaNia. The company later confirmed that she left the group to focus on her acting career.
