Yezi (예지) is a South Korean rapper and singer currently under JG Star Entertainment[1]. She was a member of the girl group FIESTAR.
She made her solo debut on January 28, 2016 with the single "Foresight Dream".
Career
2012-2018: FIESTAR
She debuted as a member of FIESTAR on August 31, 2012 with the single album "Vista".
In September 2015, she became a contestant on the competition show Unpretty Rapstar 2, where she garnered attention for her song "Crazy Dog". She ended the show as a semi-finalist.[2]
On May 15, 2018, it was announced that following the expiration of the members' contracts, FIESTAR would disband after five years of activities.[3]
2019-present: Solo career
On July 2, 2019, JG Star Entertainment announced that Yezi had signed on with the agency. [1] Her first single under the agency, "My Gravity", was released on January 30, 2020.
