Yeyoung (예영) is a South Korean singer and lyricist under HOMe. She is the leader of the girl group Geenius and a former member of the trainee teams Bebez and Polaris Junior.
She is best known for participating in Mnet's reality survival show Girls Planet 999.
Career[]
2018–2020: Polaris Junior[]
2021: Girls Planet 999[]
On July 7, 2021, she was confirmed as a contestant on Mnet's newest reality show Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[1] Her official profile was released on July 17.[2][3] In the eighth episode, which was aired on September 24, it was revealed that Yeyoung was unfortunately eliminated with her final rank being K17.[4]
2023–present: Geenius[]
On December 21, 2023, Yeyoung was revealed as a member of the upcoming girl group Geenius.[5]
They debuted on January 5, 2024 with the single album "Voyage".
On June 4, 2024, HOMe revealed that Yeyoung would participate in the original soundtrack of MBN television drama Missing Crown Prince.[6] The song "100 Days of Dreams" was released on June 8.

Yeyoung is enrolled to Dongduk Women's University majoring in Practical Music and Acting.[7] She is expected to graduate in 2024.
