Yang Tae Seon (양태선), also known as Tae Seon (태선) is a South Korean singer under YM Entertainment and Eighty6. He is a former member of the boy group TRCNG, the Japanese project boy group MY BOYZ and a former pre-debut member of the upcoming boy group UNNAME.
He is best known for being a contestant on the survival shows Peak Time and Fantasy Boys.
Career[]
2017–2019: TRCNG[]
On October 10, 2017, Tae Seon debuted as a member of TRCNG with the release of their mini album New Generation.
On November 18, 2019, Tae Seon filed a lawsuit against the agency for child abuse from director Park Sang Hyun and violence from choreography director Yoon. The agency responded by saying the claims were false and that they plan to take legal action for damage caused to their company.[1]
2022-2023: New agency, Peak Time, Fantasy Boys, MY BOYZ[]
On July 19, 2022, Tae Seon announced that he has signed with GGA.[2]
On February 15, 2023, he was revealed as a contestant on JTBC's Peak Time but was unable to pass the survival round.[3]
On February 20, he was announced as a contestant of Fantasy Boys.[4] Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the eleventh and final episode, which aired on June 8, 2023.[5]
On October 2, he was revealed as a member of of the upcoming Japanese project boy group MY BOYZ.[6] However, there seems to be no news about the group after their event in Japan last November 2023. Their website has also become inaccessible.
2024-2025: YM Entertainment, UNNAME[]
On February 1, 2024, Yang Tae Seon was introduced as a trainee of YM Entertainment.[7] He was eventually revealed as a member of the upcoming boy group UNNAME. However, on February 14, 2025, YM Entertainment announced his departure from UNNAME due to health reasons.[8]

On February 5, 2021, Yang Tae Seon graduated from the School of Performing Arts Seoul's department of practical music.[9]

On February 14, 2025, YM Entertainment announced Yang Tae Soon's departure from UNNAME due to health reasons, citing he has struggles with anxiety specifically. He decided to end his activities with the group to focus on his health and recovery.[8]
