Yang Ji Won (양지원) is a South Korean singer and actress under CL&Company. She is a former member of the girl group SPICA, its sub-unit SPICA.S, and the project group UNI.T.

In 2007, Jiwon was set to debut as a member of Five Girls, a five-member girl group under Good Entertainment. However, due to financial issues, the group was disbanded before they could debut. Other members of Five Girls included UEE, Yubin, G.NA, and Jun Hyo Seong.[2]

Shortly after Five Girls disbanded, Jiwon joined Core Contents Media to become a member of the then-upcoming group T-ARA. However, she left the group before its official debut despite recording a song and music video with them.[3]

2012–2017: SPICA, SPICA.S

Jiwon finally made her idol debut as a member of SPICA on February 10, 2012 with the group's first mini album Russian Roulette.

On September 12, 2014, she debuted as a member of the group's sub-unit, SPICA.S, with the digital single "Give Your Love".

On February 6, 2017, B2M Entertainment announced SPICA's disbandment after five years together.[4]

2017–2018: The Unit, UNI.T

In October 2017, Jiwon became a contestant on the idol rebooting show The Unit. She ranked 6th place out of all the female contestants, thus becoming a member of UNI.T.[5]

UNI.T made their official debut on May 18, 2018 with their first mini album Line. The group would disband later that year on October 12.
