Y (와이) is a South Korean singer and musical actor under Woollim Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group Golden Child.
Career[]
2017: Debut with Golden Child[]
On August 28, 2017, Y debuted as a member of Golden Child with the release of their first mini album Gol-Cha!.
2022: Musical theater endeavors[]
On March 24, 2022, Y was announced as one of the actors who would be playing Jung Haram in the musical Midnight Sun. His first performance was on May 3 with the last on June 26.[1]

Military service[]
On February 27, 2023, Woollim Entertainment announced that Y will be enlisting in the military as an active-duty soldier on March 20.[2] He was discharged on September 19, 2024.[3]
