YG Treasure Box (YG 보석함) was a survival show produced by YG Entertainment and broadcast by JTBC2.
Synopsis[]
The show determined YG's future boy group TREASURE, with 29 male trainees from YG competing to get a place.[1]

The first members of Treasure to be announced was Haruto from the Rap Team, Yedam from the Vocal Team and Junghwan from the Dance Team. The other four members would be announced after the show. Junkyu, Jeongwoo, Jaehyuk, and Hyunsuk were the last members announced, forming TREASURE.
Due to immense demands of fans to debut the eliminated contestants, YG Entertainment announced that they would be debuting another group named, MAGNUM. Ha Yoonbin, Mashiho, Doyoung, Yoshinori, Jihoon, and Asahi were the members announced which formed, MAGNUM. The two groups would be known collectively as TREASURE13.
On December 31, 2019, YG Entertainment announced the departure of Ha Yoonbin and MAGNUM would be disbanded and the remaining 12 members would debut as TREASURE.
Aftermath[]
- Seung Hoon and Byoung Gon debuted as members of CIX, under C9 Entertainment.
- Hidaka Mahiro and Wang Jyun Hao left YG and joined OUI Entertainment, but left shortly after.
- Lee Mi Dam and Kim Sung Yeon participated in Produce X 101.
- Kang Seok Hwa left YG Entertainment and later debuted as a member of WEi under OUI Entertainment.
- Kim Jong Seob debuted as a member of P1Harmony, under FNC Entertainment.
- Gil Do Hwan and Keita debuted as members of Ciipher. Keita also participated in Boys Planet in 2023. Afterwards, he debuted as the leader of the project group EVNNE.
- Hidaka Mahiro and Wang Jyun Hao debuted as members of BUGVEL.
- Kim Yeon Kyu participated in The Origin - A, B, or What? and placed seventh, making his debut in ATBO under IST Entertainment.
- Lee In Hong debuted as a member of WHIB, under C-JeS Entertainment.
- Siyun debuted as a member of AMPERS&ONE, under FNC Entertainment.
