X:IN (엑신) is a five-member multinational girl group under Escrow Entertainment. They made their debut on April 11, 2023, with the digital single "Keeping the Fire".
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On March 4, 2023, Roa was officially revealed as the first member of the group,[1] followed by E.sha on March 5,[2] and Chi.u on March 6.[3]
On March 7, 2023, Nova and Aria were seen in the line-up reveal video of the 44th K-Stage Yes or No concert of which the group would be performing at on March 12, therefore confirming them as members of the group.[4] Later the same day, Nova was officially revealed as the fourth member of the group.[5] On March 8, 2023, Aria was officially revealed as the fifth and final member of the group.[6]
On March 9, 2023, it was announced that the group will release their first pre-debut digital single titled "Who Am I" on March 12.[7] They also shared that they will be making their debut in April 2023.[8]
2023: Debut with "Keeping the Fire", fandom name, Chi.u's and Roa's departure, new members, Synchronicity[]
On April 5, 2023, X:IN's official Twitter account revealed the schedule for their debut digital single "Keeping the Fire", which was released on April 11.[9]
On May 17, X:IN announced their official fandom name to be "READY", meaning 'Just as the word action doesn't come out without Ready, it means there's no X:IN without fans, READY'.[10]
On June 7, Escrow Entertainment announced that Chi.u had departed from the group due to personal circumstances. X:IN would continue with four members.[11]
On July 8, Escrow Entertainment announced that Roa had left the group and that new members Nizz and Hannah would be added to the group, thus reorganizing X:IN as five members.[12][13][14]
On August 5, they announced their first mini album Synchronicity, set for release on August 30.[15]
2024: The Real[]
On February 5, the group officially announced that they will be making their comeback on February 25 with the second mini album The Real.[16]
