Wow (Korean: 와우; Japanese: ワウ) is a South Korean rapper and singer under Beat Interactive. He is the main rapper of the boy group A.C.E.
Career[]
2017–2018: MIXNINE[]
In 2017, he, and his fellow members Kim Byeongkwan and Donghun, became a contestant on the JTBC's new survival show MIXNINE. He was eliminated in the episode 13 after achieving 11th place.[1]
Personal life[]
Health[]
Beat Interactive announced on April 2, 2021 that he would be going on hiatus from the group to recover from depression and panic disorders.[2] He started group activities again with the mini album Siren:Dawn.
Military service[]
On August 20, 2021, Beat Interactive announced that Wow will be enlisting on September 10 as a social service worker due to health reasons.[3] He was officially discharged on June 9, 2023.[4]
