Woozi (우지) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer under Pledis Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group SEVENTEEN, the leader of its vocal team, and a member of the special unit Hoshi X Woozi.
He released a mixtape, "Ruby", on January 3, 2022.
Career[]
2015: Debut with SEVENTEEN[]
On April 19, 2015, Woozi was introduced through a video teaser as one of the 13 members of Pledis Entertainment's newest boy group SEVENTEEN. The group would be introduced through the reality program Seventeen Project – The Debut Mission.[3]
On May 26, he debuted with the group with their first mini album 17 Carat.
2022: "Ruby"[]
On December 27, 2021, he announced that he would be releasing his first solo mixtape "Ruby" on January 3, 2022. [4]
2025: Debut with Hoshi X Woozi[]
On February 18, 2025, SEVENTEEN teased a new unit featuring members Hoshi and Woozi. They would be debuting as Hoshi X Woozi on March 10 with the single "Beam".[5]
