Wooyoung (우영) is a South Korean singer and dancer under KQ Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group ATEEZ.
Career[]
2017: MIXNINE[]
In 2017, he became a contestant on JTBC's reality survival show MIXNINE. He was eliminated in the episode 7 after ranking 132nd place.[3]
2018: Debut with ATEEZ[]
On October 24, Wooyoung debuted as a member of KQ Entertainment's first boy group, ATEEZ, with the release of the mini album Treasure EP.1 : All To Zero.
Personal life[]
Hiatus[]
On May 8, 2023, KQ Entertainment announced that Wooyoung will be going on a temporary hiatus due to an ankle injury.[4] On May 29, fans have assumed that Wooyoung will be continuing schedules as a member of ATEEZ as he appeared going to their Immortal Songs recording.
On June 14, 2024, KQ Entertainment announced that Wooyoung will not be attending the Mawazine Festival in Morocco due to cholinergic urticaria.[5]
