Woongki (웅기), also known as Woong Gi, is a South Korean singer and actor under F&F Entertainment. He is a member of the project boy group AHOF and a former member of the boy group TO1.
He is also known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows World Klass, Boys Planet and Universe League.
Career[]
Pre-debut: Acting career, World Klass[]
Woong Gi was previously a child actor, he went by the stage name Cha Jae Dol. He has appeared in several dramas, movies, musicals and commercial films.
In 2019, Woong Gi participated in World Klass where he would finish fourth place in the finale earning a spot in the debut group TO1 (then known as TOO).[1]
2020–2022: TO1[]
He debuted as a member of TO1 (originally known as TOO) on April 1, 2020 with their first mini album Reason for Being : Benevolence.
On June 17, 2022, WAKEONE announced that Woong Gi, along with fellow members Min Su and Jerome, had left the group but are preparing for a new start.[2]
2023: Boys Planet, departure from WAKEONE[]
On December 20, 2022, news outlet SPOTV News reported that he, along with Jerome (now known as Oh Sung Min), would be participating in Mnet's survival show Boys Planet as contestants.[3] On December 29, he was then officially introduced as a contestant.[4] with WAKEONE later revealing that the two had decided to apply for the program while deciding their future plans.[5] The pilot episode will be aired on February 2, 2023. On April 13, he was eliminated in episode 11 after ranking 20th place.[6]
On June 22, 2023, it was announced that Woong Ki had departed from WAKEONE following the termination of his contract.[7]
2024-present: Universe League, debut with AHOF[]
On October 15, 2024, he was officially introduced as a contestant of Universe League.[8] During the show's finale, he was revealed to have ranked 2nd overall, thus making him a member of AHOF.
He made his debut as a member of AHOF on July 1, 2025 with the mini album Who We Are.[9][10]
