We;Na (위나) is a four-member girl group under RBC Amusement.[n 1] They made their debut on September 5, 2022 with the digital single "Like Psycho".

History[]

Pre-debut[]

In August 2020, Shine E&M (now known as RBC Amusement) opened SNS accounts for their upcoming girl group known as Clip with members Doa, Euna and Wony.[3]

On April 27, 2021, a fourth member named Yeonseo was introduced, thus making Clip a four-member group.[4]

On July 26, 2022, they announced that their official debut name is We;Na.[5] Two days later on July 28, they announced their new fandom name, "mymean".[6]

2022: Debut with "Like Psycho"[]

On September 2, 2022, it was announced that they would make their debut on September 5 with the digital single "Like Psycho".[7][8]

2023-2024: "Queen", sub-units, Step Like We;Na[]

On April 24, 2023, it was announced that We;Na are planning to make their comeback in the beginning of June.[9]

On June 9, We;Na revealed that they will be having a comeback on June 19 with their second digital single "Queen".[10][11]

On August 13 and 16, Wony and Yeonseo were revealed as members of the upcoming project girl group Puzzle.[12][13] They are aiming to debut in the second half of 2023 with the single "Savior".

On September 27, RBC Amusement announced We;Na's first sub-unit, Yeonseo & Wony, who will debut on October 4 with the digital single "Wind".[14]

On January 19, 2024, RBC Amusement announced We;Na's second sub-unit, Doa & Euna, who will debut on January 29 with the digital single "Baby, Like it".[15]

On May 12, it was revealed that the group would release a new song called "Baby Step" on May 15.[16] On that day, the song was released together with the group's first mini album Step Like We;Na.

2025-present: Japanese debut with We;Na World[]

On February 5, 2025, it was announced that We;Na will be having a Japanese debut with the mini album We;Na World on February 11. It will be released digitally first on the aforementioned date and the physical album releasing later on March 5.[17]
