Background

On June 10, 2022, it was revealed that the girl group REDSQUARE would be rebranding as IRRIS. From June 13 through June 16, the members of the group were revealed, starting with I.L, followed by Nina, Yunseul, and finally Liv.

A scheduler teaser posted across the group's social medias announced that they will make their debut on July 6 with their first mini album, titled Wanna Know.
