WINNY (위니) is an eight-member girl group under Rainbow E&M. They debuted on October 14, 2022 with the digital single "Like A Star".
They are the 21st group created under the Future Idol Asia project.[1]
History[]
Pre-debut[]
In 2020, Rainbow Company (later known as Rainbow E&M) created Future Idol, an idol development project for the purpose of debuting various project idol groups throughout 2021 through its project, known as 'Future Idol Asia'. While pre-debut, WINNY was one of several teen groups that participated in the second Future Idol showcase.[2]
2022–present: Debut[]
On October 7, WINNY released a teaser for their debut digital single "Like A Star".[3] They eventually debuted on October 14, 2022.[1]
