They were formed in 2014 after winning the reality survival show WIN: Who is Next.

Trivia

• During WIN: Who Is Next, Mino was originally the leader of the group pre-debut. However, Mino injured his ankle and was unable to lead the group during practices. As a result, Yang Hyun Suk chose to appoint Yoon as leader and he has remained leader ever since.
