WE:A (위아) is a four-member boy group under Madewell Music and KZ Entertainment. They made their debut on March 29, 2023 with the digital single "24/7:Twenty-Four/Seven".
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On March 22, 2022, the official SNS accounts for WE:A was opened with their biographies for each platform including the five names: Jeongkyun, Ron, Kichun, Eden, and Z-uK.[2]
On March 26, 2022, they announced their first global online concert titled "2022 WE:A 1st Global Online Concert ‘Re:Born’", which was to occur on April 3.[3]
On June 15, 2022, Eden was revealed to have left the group as he had signed a contract with a new agency.[4]
2023: Debut with "24/7:Twenty-Four/Seven", Japanese debut, "Starry Night, Good Night"[]
On March 11, 2023, it was announced that the group will be debuting in Japan on April 4 with the digital single "24/7:Twenty-Four/Seven".[5]
On March 26, the group announced their first Korean digital single "24/7:Twenty-Four/Seven" will be released on March 29.[6] Additionally, they revealed through their Twitter that their fandom name would be THE1.[7]
On April 3, 2023, the group released their second digital single "Starry Night, Good Night".
2024: "WE:A The Chance"[]
On January 16, 2023, the group released their third digital single "WE:A The Chance".
