Vitamin (비타민) is three-member kids girl group under Clevr E&M. They made their debut on October 7, 2015 with the digital single "Happy Day".

History[]

2015–2017: Vitamin beginnings[]

Vitamin was formed in 2015 by Kim Sang-ah (Ivory Kim), a children's music lyricist and producer. They debuted on October 7, 2015 with the digital single "Happy Day" with first generation members Kim Naye, Han Chaeyoon, Bae Haeun, Ahn Jihyun, Noh Seoyul and Jung Bomi. There was one member, Jung Sunha, who graduated from the group prior to the release of their first single. As a six-member kids group, they released their second single, "Fly High" on December 12, 2015. Following the single's release, all their first generation members, with the exception of Naye, graduated from the kids group.

For a year and a half, Vitamin did not record or release any music, however, they still continued to add new members in 2016, which were the new second generation members and consisted of Jung Sarang, Hwang Chaemin, Kang Juha and Hyun Hyewon. As the newly formed Vitamin, they released the group's third digital single, "Exciting Sports Day", on July 7, 2017. There was another member yet again, who graduated from the group prior to a music release, the member being Choi Seoyu who joined in October 2016 and graduated before July 2017. The following month in August, members Juha and Hyewon aslo graduated from Vitamin.

In September 2017, the third generation of Vitamin was formed, with pre-existing members Naye, Chaemin and Sarang, and new members Kim Sofiya and Yun Siwoo. Together, they released the group's fourth digital single, "You Are Special", on October 27, 2017 and the fifth digital single, "A Secret Wish Of Christmas" on December 11, 2017.

2018: Vitamin joins Clevr E&M[]

In January 2018, member Sofiya graduated from Vitamin, and at the same time, Vitamin singed under Clevr E&M, a brand new company formed at the beginning of the year.

In February 2018, Vitamin had a special collaborative single released, called "We've Got Heart", which was sponsored by Lego Korea to promote a line of children's toys called Lego Friends. For this single, temporary project member Jang Yooha joined the group.

On April 6, 2018, Vitamin released their sixth digital single, "I Changed". It was the last single to include Siwoo who later graduated from the group.

In May 2018, new fourth generation member Lim Chaemin joined Vitamin and together with pre-existing members Naye, Hwang Chaemin and Sarang, they released the group's seventh digital single, "SaySaySay", on June 18, 2018. They later also released "Today Is The Day" on September 28, 2018, and "Christmas Star" on December 7, 2018.

2019–present: 5th generation releases[]

On February 28, 2019, Vitamin had a second collaborative single with Lego Korea for Lego Friends, and so they released "Here We Are". This collaborative single also introduced a new member, named Oh Siyoon, while it was the last release for member Lim Chaemin.

On April 6, 2019, Vitamin released "Vitamin Sea" with their fifth generation members Naye, Hwang Chaemin, Sarang and Siyoon.

In December 2019, Vitamin's fifth generation was joined by the latest member Lee Jehee, and the same month, they released "Your Dream, My Dream" on December 13, 2019, which was followed by "Now I Know", released on May 1, 2020, and "The Way To School", released on September 28, 2020. On December 11, 2020, Jehee announced her graduation from Vitamin.[1]

Maintaining their current four-member line-up, on July 2, 2021, Vitamin released their 14th digital single, "I Wish", their 15th single, "Dear Me (Vitamin)", on October 22, 2021, and their 16th single "Follow My Heart". By the release of "Follow My Heart", it was reported that Vitamin had by now grown from a kids group to a proper K-pop girl group, though due to them still being young and only between 11 to 15 years old, they are now considered a teen K-pop girl group.[2] On December 17, 2022 Vitamin released their 17th single, "The White Present".

2024–present: 6th generation introduction[]

Around mid 2024, after over a year of inactivity, it was announced that Vitamin's longest-standing 5th generation members all graduated. Vitamin's SNS accounts laid idle until early 2025 when Vitamin introduced their newest 6th generation members, consisting of Hong Seobin, Kim Hyeyul and Kim Sieun.[3] Later in May 2025, they were joined by a fourth member, Lim Arin.[4] Then in June, they were joined by kids content twins duo Euo Sua and Euo Suji of DDUA DDUJI TV.[5]
