ViVi (Korean: 비비; Japanese: ビビ) is a Hong Kongese singer and model. She is a member of the girl groups Loossemble, LOONA and its sub-unit LOONA 1/3.
Career[]
2017: Reveal, LOONA 1/3, solo debut[]
On February 12, 2017, she was revealed as a member of the group's first sub-unit LOONA 1/3, which debuted on March 7 with the mini album Love & Live. ViVi is the only LOONA member to not release a solo album prior to her inclusion in a sub-unit.
On April 5, ViVi was officially revealed as the fifth member of LOONA. Her solo single album, titled "ViVi", was released on April 17.
2018: Debut with LOONA[]
On August 20, 2018, LOONA debuted as a full twelve-member group with their first mini album + +.
2023: Departure from BlockBerryCreative, signing with CTDENM, Loossemble[]
On February 3, 2023, it was reported that ViVi, along with HyunJin, would be filling a lawsuit to suspend their contracts with BlockBerryCreative after the court gave divided rulings on similar cases involving the rest of the girl group members.[1]
On May 9, 2023, it was reported that ViVi, alongside HyunJin, had won their lawsuits against BlockBerryCreative, thus effectively nullifying their exclusive contracts.[2]
On June 11, 2023, it was reported that she, alongside HyunJin, had signed exclusive contracts with the new agency CTDENM.[3]
On August 2, 2023, she was revealed as a member of the girl group Loossemble. They debuted on September 15, 2023 with the mini album Loossemble.
2024: Departure from CTDENM[]
On November 29, 2024, CTDENM announced that its exclusive contract with the Loossemble members had ended.[4]

On February 28, 2022, BlockBerryCreative announced that ViVi along with fellow members Yeojin and HaSeul had tested positive for COVID-19 on February 25 from a self home kit and on February 26 from a PCR test. The three members have stopped all activities and are following the guidelines and taking the necessary measures. As a result, LOONA will not be participating in the first round of Queendom 2.[5]

- Although ViVi was introduced in February, her representing month in LOONA is April due to her pre-debut single album being released in that month.
- ViVi used to model in Hong Kong under the name of Viian Wong prior to her pre-debut.
- In the LOONA 1/3 one year anniversary V Live, HaSeul and her fellow members decided to give her the Korean name Hwang A-ra (황아라).[7]
- She decided to become a K-pop singer after watching music videos of Big Bang and 2NE1 and receiving dance lessons.
- In the audition, she sang a song by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai.
- ViVi initially did not know how to speak Korean when she arrived in Korea. She said she used to "cry tears of loneliness." However, other trainees supported her and helped her stand back up.
- ViVi practices her Korean a lot. Haseul said that in every fansigning that ViVi’s Korean is improving.
- Her nickname is BB Cream.
- Korean food is a bit spicy for her, but she loves bibimbap, chicken, bulgogi, fish cake and Korean pancakes.
