veanii (비니), formerly known as JEOMi (저미) and also by her birth name An Jeongmin (안정민), is a South Korean singer-songwriter under EXSCAPE.

She made her solo debut on June 24, 2023 with the digital single "Rainy Day".

She is best known for being a contestant on the reality shows Kpop Star 6: The Last Chance and Girls Planet 999.

Career[]

2016–2017: Kpop Star 6: The Last Chance[]

2021: Girls Planet 999[]

On July 7, 2021, she was confirmed as a contestant in on Mnet's newest reality show Girls Planet 999, along with the other participating trainees, through the prologue trailer.[1] Her official profile was released on July 17.[2][3] Unfortunately, she was eliminated on the eighth episode of the show, during the second round of eliminations with her final rank being K13.[4]

2023: Solo debut with "Rainy Day", "Time"[]

On June 23, 2023, she announced on Instagram that she would be debuting as a soloist on June 24 under the stage name JEOMi with her first digital single "Rainy Day".[5]

Later in November, she was featured in new K-hiphop singer wurii's second digital single ""You Know What" along with Terry. She also contributed to the lyrics and composition of the song.[6]

On December 3, she rebranded her SNS to show her new stage name as veanii and began a D-day countdown along with showing teaser photos.[7] On December 6, she released her second digital single "Time".

2024: "Stay By My Side"[]

On January 19, 2024, she shared that she would release her third digital single on January 22, later revealed to be titled "Stay By My Side".[8]
