Um Jung Woo (엄정우), also known simply as Jungwoo, is a South Korean singer and musical actress under FREQ. She is a former member of the girl group BVNDIT.
She made her solo debut on November 25, 2025 with the digital single "Still Here".
Career[]
2019–2022: BVNDIT[]
On March 12, 2019, Jungwoo was announced as the fourth member of BVNDIT.[1] The group debuted on April 10, 2019 with the digital single "BVNDIT, Be Ambitious!".
On November 11, 2022, MNH Entertainment announced that the group had officially disbanded after the members' exclusive contracts were terminated at the end of October 2022.[2]
2023: New agency[]
On April 10, 2023, it was announced that Jungwoo had signed an exclusive contract with ShowPLAY ACTORS to focus on activities as a musical actress.[3]
2025: Solo debut with "Still Here"[]
On November 12, 2025, Jungwoo shared that she would be making her solo debut in the same month. On November 17, Jungwoo announced the title of her debut single "Still Here", to be released on November 25.[4]

In 2022, Jungwoo passed her board exam for Dongguk University where she would major in the Department of Theater Arts.[5]
In 2023, she studied at Northern State University in South Dakota, United States, as an exchange student.[6]
On April 3, 2025, Jung Woo shared that she had been accepted to the Berklee College of Music.[7]
