U.Ji (유지) is a South Korean singer. She is a former member of the girl groups BESTie and EXID.

She made her solo debut on February 17, 2015 with the digital single "Love Letter".

Career[]

2012: EXID[]

She originally debuted as a member of EXID on February 12, 2012 with the group's first single "Holla".

On April 30, AB Entertainment announced that U.Ji would be leaving EXID in order to focus on her studies.[1]

2013–2017: BESTie[]

On July 2, 2013, it was revealed that U.Ji, alongside fellow former EXID members Hyeyeon and Haeryung, would be debuting as part of YNB Entertainment's new girl group BESTie.[2]

The group officially debuted on July 11, 2013 with their first single "Pitapat".

On September 4, 2017, YNB Entertainment announced that she, alongside Dahye, had left the group after terminating their contracts with the agency.[3]

2017-2021: New agencies[]

On December 15, 2017, Curo Holdings announced that U.Ji had signed on with the agency.[4]

On May 18, 2021, World Star Entertainment announced that U.Ji had signed on with the agency.[5] As of 2023, she was removed from the company's official artists page, signalling her departure.
