Tiffany (티파니) is a South Korean-American singer-songwriter under SUBLIME. She is a member of the girl group Girls' Generation and its sub-unit Girls' Generation-TTS.
She made her solo debut on May 11, 2016 with the mini-album I Just Wanna Dance.
Since her departure from SM Entertainment in October 2017, she is promoting her music and acting actitivies under the stage name Tiffany Young.
Career[]
2007: Debut with Girls' Generation[]
Tiffany debuted as a member of Girls' Generation on August 5, 2007 with the group's first single "Into the New World".
2012: Debut with Girls' Generation-TTS[]
On April 29, 2012, she debuted as a member of the sub-unit Girls' Generation-TTS with their first mini album Twinkle.
2016: Solo debut[]
She made her solo debut on May 11, 2016 with her first mini album I Just Wanna Dance.
2017–present: Return to the US, solo career, new agency[]
On October 9, 2017, SM Entertainment announced that Tiffany, alongside Sooyoung and Seohyun, had decided not to renew their contracts with the agency.[2] She moved back to her native California to study acting.[3]
In June 2018, it was announced she would be making her American debut under Paradigm Talent Agency.[4]
Tiffany made her American solo debut on June 28, 2018 with her first digital single "Over My Skin". She proceeded to release multiple singles that led up to the release of her first English EP 'Lips on Lips' which was released February 22, 2019. This EP led her to win the Best Solo Breakout award at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, making her the first female Korean artist to win an iHeartRadio Music award.[5]
Tiffany was cast as Roxie Hart in the South-Korean production of the Broadway musical 'Chicago' on February 16, 2021.[6]
It was announced on June 29, 2021, that Tiffany would make her acting debut in a supporting role in the JTBC Drama 'Reborn Rich'.[7] The drama aired from November 18, 2022 to December 25, 2022.
Tiffany took part in writing and composing two songs for the Girls' Generation 15th Anniversary Comeback Album 'Forever 1' in August 2022.[8] She wrote 'Seventeen' and 'Villain' alongside member, Sooyoung, and also composed 'Villain' alongside producer, Josh Cumbee.
On December 26, 2022, SUBLIME announced that Tiffany has signed with them to actively promote in diverse fields, thus signing with a Korean agency for the first time since her departure from SM Entertainment.[9]

Relationship[]
On April 4, 2014, local news source Sports Seoul reported that she and Nichkhun of 2PM were dating and it was confirmed by both agencies.[10] On May 29, 2015, it was confirmed that the couple had broken up.[11]
Activism[]
Tiffany has voiced her support of the LGBTQ+ Community several times. In 2018, she wrote an open love letter to the community for Gay Pride Month.[12] In 2021, she joined LGBT collective Neon Milk to dance to Girls' Generation's debut song "Into The New World" alongside queer entertainers and other allies.[13] Neon Milk has used this song every year for pride, as it has become a beloved protest anthem. Later that same year, she expressed her support again during her time as a guest on JTBC Newsroom.[14]
Health[]
On November 14, 2023, SUBLIME released a statement announcing that Tiffany underwent a medical examination due to ongoing health concerns. She would take approximately two weeks of of sufficient rest and stability.[15]
