The Wind (Korean: 더윈드; Japanese: ザ·ウィンド) is a six-member boy group under With US Entertainment. Originally as seven, they made their debut on May 15, 2023 with their first mini album Beginning : The Wind Page.

History[]

2023: Debut with Beginning : The Wind Page, "Summer Vacation", "Ready : Summer Vacation", Shin Jae Won's departure[]

Sometime in February 2023, social media accounts were opened for the group.

On March 8, With US Entertainment unveiled a teaser hinting at something that would be revealed on March 15.[1] On March 13, a second teaser was released, showing the backs of seven members.[2] On March 15, a logo motion video was posted, announcing that the group would debut with their first mini album, Beginning : The Wind Page.[3][4] Jang Hyoun Joon was revealed as the first member on March 16,[5] followed by Thanatorn on March 17,[6] Kim Hee Soo on March 18,[7] Park Hayuchan on March 19,[8] Shin Jae Won on March 20,[9] and An Chan Won on March 21.[10]

On April 10, it was announced that the release date for the album would be May 15.[11] The music video for "Sirius" was pre-released on April 24.

On July 12, it was announced that The Wind will be releasing their first single album "Ready : Summer Vacation" on August 2.[12] "Summer Vacation" was pre-released on July 26.

On July 14, during their first live it was announced that the fandom name will be called WHIZ (위즈).[13]

On December 6, With US Entertainment announced that member Shin Jae Won had departed from the group for personal reasons.[14]

2024: An Chan Won's hiatus, Our : Youthteen, "Sirius Part. 2", Hello : My First Love, First music show win[]

On January 23, The group announced that An Chan Won will not be participating in their upcoming comeback due to health issues.[15]

On January 24, the group released a trailer for their second mini album Our : Youthteen, set to be released on February 14.[16]

On May 8, the group will be releasing the second digital single "Sirius Part. 2", set to be released on May 15, to celebrate the group's first debut anniversary.[17]

On September 19, the group released a teaser for their third mini album, set to be released on October 7,[18] and later revealed to be titled Hello : My First Love.[19]

On October 18, the group received their first music show win on Music Bank.[20]

2025: "Only One Story", "Hello Tomorrow", Thanatorn's hiatus[]

On March 5, 2025, the group released a trailer video for their second single album "Only One Story".[21]

On May 8, the group will be releasing the third digital single "Hello Tomorrow", set to be released on May 15, to celebrate the group's second debut anniversary.[22]

On May 7, 2025, With US Entertainment announced that Thanatorn will be going on a temporary hiatus due to personal reasons.[23] It was later revealed that he will be participating in Mnet survival show Boys II Planet.
