The War: The Power of Music is a repackage of EXO's fourth full-length album The War. It was released on September 5, 2017 with "Power" serving as the album's title track. The album includes three new songs, including the title track "Power".
On international digital platforms, the repackage was released as a four-track EP titled The Power of Music, including the three new songs and the instrumental version of "Power".
Member Lay did not participate in this album's recording and promotion due to conflicts with his promotional schedules in China.
