The Second Step : Chapter Two is the second mini album by TREASURE. It was released on October 4, 2022 with "Hello" serving as the album's title track.
Group members Mashiho and Yedam were unable to participate in this album's recording and promotions due to remaining on hiatus since May following health recuperation and extended academic music studies, respectively.[1] They subsequently left the group and YG Entertainment on November 8, 2022 after reaching an agreement to terminate their exclusive contracts with the agency.[2]
The physical album comes in 13 versions: Photobook, (Light Green & Deep Blue) YG TAG Album and 10 member-specific digipack versions.
Commercial performance[]
By October 5, The Second Step : Chapter Two had reached #1 in 15 different countries on the iTunes Top Albums chart.[3]
On December 8, 2022, The Second Step : Chapter Two received a platinum certification for reaching 250,000 accumulated copies sold.[4] On April 6, 2023, it then received a double platinum certification for surpassing 500,000 copies sold on Circle Chart.[5]
