"The Love of Fingertips" (손끝의 사랑) is a special collaboration digital single by B1A4, Eunkwang and Changsub of BTOB, Youngji of KARA, A-JAX, APRIL, OH MY GIRL, and Kassy. It was released on June 7, 2016 as a campaign song for Creating a Healthy Cyber World.
Background[]
On June 1, 2016, the Korea Entertainment Producers Association (KEPA) and the Korea Entertainment Management Association (KEMA), together with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), announced the launch of the "Creating a Healthy Cyber World" campaign. The initiative aimed to prevent harm to artists and the general public from baseless online rumors and malicious comments. The campaign promoted positive online interaction through various programs, including a campaign song, relay videos by celebrities, street events, and a webtoon contest. A campaign logo was introduced, using speech bubbles with hashtags to symbolize positive and encouraging online dialogue.[1][2]
The song, "The Love of Fingertips", created for the campaign, premiered on June 4 at the Dream Concert in Seoul.
Composition[]
"The Love of Fingertips" was written by Kang Eun Kyung, composed and arranged by Lee Tae Yeol and Lee Han Gil, and produced by Hwang Dong-seop. The lyrics highlight phrases that promote positivity, such as "thank you", "congratulations", "love", "sorry", and "cheer up".[3]
