"The Lone Duckling" (미운오리새끼) is the first digital single by god. It was released on May 7, 2014 as a pre-release single for the group's eighth studio album Chapter 8.
This marks the group's official return after a nine-year hiatus. Moreover, the release marks member Yoon Kye Sang's return to the group after his initial departure in 2004.
All proceeds from the song were donated to the survivors and families of the victims of the Sewol Ferry sinking.[1]
