The Book of Us : Negentropy - Chaos Swallowed Up in Love is the seventh mini album by DAY6. It was released on April 19, 2021 with "You Make Me" serving as the album's title track.
Group member Sungjin participated in this album's recording, music video filming and jacket shooting before he began his hiatus for his military duty.[1] This also is the final release to feature Jae before he announced his hiatus[2] and subsequent departure on December 31, 2021.[3]
This is also the final release before Young K, Dowoon and Wonpil enlist for their military service on October 12, 2021, January 17, 2022 and March 28, 2022, respectively.[4][5][6]
The physical album comes in two versions: One& and Only.
Background[]
On February 26, 2021, JYP Entertainment announced that DAY6 would make a full group comeback in April.[7] Then on March 29, a teaser was posted announcing that their 7th mini album, The Book of Us : Negentropy - Chaos Swallowed Up in Love, would be released on April 19.[8]
On the day of the album's release, JYP Entertainment shared a statement announcing that the group has decided not to do promotions on music shows due to unavoidable circumstances.[9]
