The Ark (디아크) was a five-member a girl group formed by Music K Entertainment. They made their debut on April 10, 2015 with the digital single "Somebody 4 Life".

The group's name is inspire by Joan of Arc, recognized as a savior of France, and it implies they aspires to be a strong yet delicate girl group that will be a leader among the other girl groups.[1]

They were confirmed to have disbanded in Early 2016.

History[]

2014–2016: Debut and disbandment[]

On July 17, 2014, Music K Entertainment announced that Yuna and Minju will be debuting in their five-member upcoming girl group.[1] Almost eight months later, on March 19, 2015, Halla was introduced as the group's third member.[2] On March 24, 2015, the last two members Yujin and Jane were introduced.[3]

On April 10, 2015, The Ark debut with their digital single "Somebody 4 Life".[4]

On 2016, the group's profile photo and page were removed from Music K Entertainment's artist page on their website, suggesting that the girl group presumably disbanded,[5] which Yuna later confirmed.[6]
