A slight distinction
Saying 'Alex was the first African-American member of a Korean group.' isn't exactly true. Yoon Mirae, Insooni, Mikey Romeo, and Lee Michelle pre date her (and don't respond with 'Yoon Mirae, Insooni, and Michelle are only half black', so is Alex). So, I changed things slightly just to be extra clear.
