On July 21, 2021, Interpark announced that they had established a subsidiary label, Interpark Music Plus, for their idol group production business. It was also revealed that the label is preparing to launch a new male idol group within the year.[4]
On July 28, 2021, the group's official SNS accounts were launched.[5] On July 31, INTER BOYS uploaded their first dance cover video, starting with Stray Kids' "Back Door".[6] A dance cover of Taemin's "Advice" by member 'D' was released on August 4, and SuperM's "Tiger Inside" by the full group on August 7.[7][8]
On August 9, 2021, Havit and Hankook were revealed as the group's first members.[9][10] This was followed by Yechan, Leon, and Eunil on the 10th.[11][12][13] Finally, ra.L and Yoonwoo were revealed on the 11th.[14][15]
Due to the news of LABOUM also moving to the label on September 9, 2021, and that INTER BOYS consists of six out of seven members of Daily H Boys, it is assumed that all Global H artists including trainees have moved to Interpark Music Plus.[16]
At the midnight of November 29, 2021, the group announced that they will be called TRENDZ and will make their debut in January 2022.[17]
