T5 is the first sub-unit of the boy group TREASURE. They made their debut on June 28, 2023 with the digital single "Move".

History

2023: Debut with "Move", "Move (Japanese Ver.)"

On June 12, 2023, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk announced the debut of TREASURE's first sub-unit, T5, in July. He further explain that the group is made of the five members who raised their hands when asked if they thought they were the most handsome within their group.

On June 13, So Jung Hwan was confirmed as the first member of the unit, followed by Junkyu on the 14th, Jihoon on the 15th, Yoon Jae Hyuk on the 16th, and Doyoung on the 17th.

On June 19, YG Entertainment announced the debut song "Move". The dance practice video was pre-released on June 21. The single would be released on June 28, 2023.

On September 10, TREASURE announced that T5 will be releasing a Japanese digital single, "Move (Japanese Ver.)" on September 15.
