Switch Berry (스위치 베리) was a four-member girl group under DAM Entertainment. They debuted on July 19, 2013 with the digital single "Shaken".

They were originally a sub-unit of the girl group Switch, but later became the main group.

The group presumably disbanded sometime in 2019.

History[]

On July 27, 2012, they made their debut as La_TTE under Starcubic Entertainment with the digital single "Don't Stop". The lineup consisted of Dami, Bich Sori, Sura, Sujeong and Do.U.

2013: Redebut as Switch with "Shaken"[]

On July 19, 2013, they changed their name from La_TTE to Switch as the members didn't like the name and redebuted with the digital single "Shaken".[1] The lineup consisted of Dami, Sujeong and Do.U. Sometime later, Seungyeon joined the group but left shortly after.[2]

2014-2015: "Bikini", "39˚C" and lineup changes[]

In February 2016, Hyoeun appeared to have left the group, while Seoyeon changed her stage name to Yeon I.[3] The following month, the group reorganized into a five-member group and became active as the unit group Switch Berry with Yeon I, Jimin, Minji, Do.U, and Saerom.[4] The group then released a remake of their 2013 song "Shaken" with this lineup on March 21, 2016.

On July 4, they released their third digital single "fiEsTaLocA". The lineup then consisted of Dami, Do.U, Saerom, Yerin, Yeon I, Jimin, Minji, and new member Gayoung.

On March 25, 2017, DAM Entertainment announced that Switch would officially change their name to Switch Berry.[5] This was followed by several lineup changes in the next few months, with Minji leaving to work as an announcer, Do.U leaving to work as a DJ and become a member of Icia, Dami leaving to only work as their CEO, Saerom leaving to work as a pilates instructor and the addition of new member Jenny.[5][6][7]

2018-2019: Lineup changes, Switch Berry Shop and disbandment[]

In February 2018, the group officially announced their new lineup, consisting of Yeon I, Jimin, Rose and Sarang.[8] Sometime later, Yeon I and Sarang left the group and Minah and Hana were recruited.

In June, the group opened a clothing store called Switch Berry Shop and also worked as models for the shop.[9]
