"Supernova" is the eighth digital single by aespa. It was released on May 13, 2024 as the pre-release for the group's first full-length album, Armageddon.

On April 22, 2024, aespa unveiled the intro video teaser for their first full-length album Armageddon, which will be released on May 27.[1] "Supernova" will be pre-released on May 13.[2]

"Supernova" was ranked #9 on the NME's 50 best songs of 2024 list,[3] and #1 on the Billboard's top 25 best K-Pop songs of 2024 list.[4]
Commercial performance[]
On May 25, "Supernova" achieved a perfect all-kill, becoming the fastest song to do so in 2024 so far.[5]
As of September 2, "Supernova" topped the Melon's weekly chart for 15 consecutive weeks, breaking the previous record set by NewJeans's "Ditto".[6]
On November 2, the Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded "Supernova" a gold certification.[7]
"Supernova" was ranked #99 on the 2024 Billboard Japan's Hot 100 year end chart.[8]
