"Supernatural" is the debut Japanese single by NewJeans. It was released on June 21, 2024 with "Supernatural" serving as the single's title track.
"Right Now" was pre-released on June 17, 2024 as part of a commercial in Korea and Japan.
The physical album comes in nine versions: Drawstring Bag, five individual Cross Bag versions, and three Weverse Albums versions (A, B, and C).
Background[]
On March 26, 2024, ADOR announced that NewJeans will make their Japanese debut on June 21 with a double single. Addionally, "Right Now" will be pre-released in May as a commercial song.[1] On May 10, the title was revelaed to be "Supernatural".[2]
Composition[]
Pharrell Williams is credited as composer and lyricist for "Supernatural". The song samples his 2009 song "Back of My Mind" reinterpreted in a new jack swing style.[3]
